The Wii Component Video Cable allows you to hook your Wii console system to a high-definition TV (HDTV) or enhanced-definition TV (EDTV) to view 480p progressive output. 480p progressive output displays at a higher resolution than standard 480i resolution. This component cable is specifically designed to provide the sharpest video and sound for your Nintendo Wii gaming system. Ultra thick and flexible PVC jacket with color coded connectors help to simplify installation.
They Highly Define The Wii (2008-12-30)
These cables do exactly what you would expect them to do. They really improved the graphics of my Wii. For such a cheap price, you would be a fool not to consider purchasing these wonderfully helpful cables.
Excellent Quality (2008-12-28)
This is an excellent cable which appears to be of excellent quality. There is a noticable difference going from 480i to 480p. I have installed 4 of these with no problem.
Great product for the price (2008-12-23)
Don't waste your money on Nintendo brand cables- that's all your paying for- the name. This is a great product.
Wii Component Cable (2008-12-22)
Works fine good and clearer much noticable resolution. Not as good at HD at 1080, but close, and much better than stock cable. Get it, worth the price.
Don't waste your money on higher priced cables (2008-12-21)
Best Buy and other places carry a similar cable by Monster for $60. I plugged my Wii into my Samsung 46" LCD and there's no possible way you could tell me that a more expensive cable would yield better results. First of all, its a Nintendo Wii, not a high end piece of AV equipment. Second, this cable is actually a very well built high quality piece of gear. Don't let the price fool you. It is every bit up to the task of getting your Wii up on your big screen.
Do realize though that because the Wii does not output at any higher than 480p that your picture will not be as high resolution as that of your PS3 or Xbox 360. But spending more money on a Monster cable or even the Nintendo brand will make no difference. Don't waste your money on a higher priced cable. This one is as good as it gets.
